First Pan-European Conference in Ukraine

The Pan-European Union of Ukraine organised the First Pan-European Conference in Ukraine on 18 and 19 October 2018.

The conference was organised with the support of the National Agency of Ukraine for Public Service and the Representative Office of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Ukraine and took place at the National Agency of Ukraine for Public Service, Kyiv, Prorizna 15.

The international Pan-European meeting was dedicated to the posthumous honouring of the Heavenly Hundred victims of Euromaidan.

The conference included panels on the current political situation in Europe, the possibilities of Ukrainian policy on the continent, the image of Ukraine and the mechanisms of cultural diplomacy.

The European Prize of the European Coudenhove-Kalergi Society was awarded during the conference.

The European Prize was deposited in the Maidan Museum as a symbol of honouring the Heavenly Hundred.

The President of the Coudenhove-Kalergi Society, Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein, gave a speech at the award ceremony.
