General Assembly in Strasbourg 2020
The General Assembly of the International Pan-European Union was held in the European Parliament in Strasbourg from 7 to 9 February 2020.
The main invited speakers were the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman, former Minister and Honorary President of the Charles de Gaulle Foundation Jacques Godfrain, Georgian Ambassador to France and UNESCO Delegate Téa Katukia, and Vice President of the European Parliament and President of the German European Union Rainer Wieland.
The 10-point Resolution of the General Assembly was adopted.
The Resolution expresses satisfaction that the citizens of the European Union participated in the European elections in 2019 on the largest scale since 1979, when direct elections for the European Parliament began. The main challenges facing the European Union were pointed out.
