The Pan-European Union Germany organised the 46th Andechs Europe Day on 15/16 October 2016 in cooperation with the European Institute for Political, Economic and Social Issues under the title ‘Mir san mir – aber wer?’.

The Pan-European Congress took place from 6 to 9 October 2016 at the Haus der Industrie in Vienna.

The Pan-European Union of Hungary organised an international conference "Regaining of Europe: Challenges and dangers" on 9–11 September 2016 in the Imre Madách Cultural Centre in Vác.

The main rally of the 42nd Pan-European Days of the Pan-European Union Germany, which took place in Darmstadt from 3 to 5 June 2016, was characterised by the commitment to a ‘partnership of equals’ between Europe and Africa.

Within the international conference of the Pan-European Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo "Bosnia and Herzegovina – Southeast Europe – European Union: Challenges of integration and regional cooperation in the context of globalisation" were organised meetings of the Elected Presidency and Enlarged Presidency of the International Pan-European Union.

The Pan-European Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina organised from 27 to 29 May 2016 in the City Hall of Sarajevo the international conference "Bosnia and Herzegovina, Southeast Europe, the European Union: Challenges of integration and regional cooperation in the context of globalisation".

The Pan-European Union of France organised on Wednesday, 11 May 2016, at the Conseil régional d’Alsace in Strasbourg an intergenerational dialogue "Europe: Where are the Keys to the Future?"

The main question of the 45th Andechs Europe Day, which took place on 12/13 March 2016 in Andechs Monastery, was: Welcome culture - or fences at all borders?

On 20 February 2016, the President of the International Pan-European Union addressed to the membership of the Pan-European Union and to the general public a statement on the position of the Pan-European Union towards membership in the European Union.

Challenged by the announcement of the former Greek minister Janis Varoufakis that he wants to establish a "Pan-European Movement", the president of the International Pan-European Union Alain Terrenoire sent a communiqué to the public in which he explained that the "Pan-European Movement" already exists and has been active for 95 years.
